VCYSA Victory Vine 5K

Welcome to the 2nd Annual VCYSA Victory Vine 5K benefitting the Vigo County Youth Soccer Association!



This event will feature a 5k run / walk as well as the Messi Mile a fun kid's 1 mile run.

The 5k will begin at Water Tower Estates Winery just down the street from the VCYSA fields. Runners / walkers will then run down to the soccer fields where they will complete a large loop through the fields before running back to their finish at Watertower!

The kid's Messy Mile will be a 1 mile route off of any streets and completely closed to traffic.

The event will begin and end at the beautiful Watertower Estates Winery!

Parking this year will also be located directly across the street from Watertower Estates. Volunteers will direct you where to park and you can just cross the street for packet pickup and the start / finish line!

2020 COVID 19 Safety Protocols

1. All participants will be required to wear a mask when picking up their packet and at the start corral before you start the race. We will have a trash can at the start line in case you would like to dispose of a disposable mask when you start or you can of course tuck your mask into a pocket etc. when starting.
2. We will start participants in a single file line when starting instead of a more condensed group to better space participants out when starting.
3. You do not need to wear a mask while running.
4. At our post-race party and post-race awards ceremony you will need to wear a mask except when seated or socially distanced.
5. All volunteers dealing with the distribution of water / wine / snacks throughout the event will be masked and gloved.

Event Schedule:
5:00 p.m. - 6:15 p.m. - Packet Pickup and Race Day Registration
6:00 p.m. - Messy Mile
6:00 p.m. - Live Music From Travis Dillion Begins
6:30 p.m. - Victory Vine 5k
7:00 p.m. - After Party and refreshements begin
7:30 p.m. - Awards Ceremony
9:00 p.m. - Post-race party and live music ends




All participants will receive:

Your first glass of wine / sparkling grape juice is included in your entry fee. You can also buy additional drinks just remember to bring cash or card!

If you do wish to have wine at the post-race party you must bring your ID to packet pickup when you pick up your race packet so that we can band you with the proper 21 and over bracelet. You must be present with your ID in order to receive the bracelet. No ID no bracelt no wine.

This year we will be donating $500 to the P.E. program of the school with the highest percentage of participation!

After the race we will have a fun post-race party where you can play games and enjoy your free glass of wine! We will also have a family friendly kid's zone with plenty of fun activities for your kiddos.
